Young Leaders Program
Fellowship 2026
The Fellowship Program for Qatari Students is one of the initiatives offered by the Qatar Leadership Center. The program aims to develop the international, diplomatic, and academic leadership skills of outstanding university students. It targets students in their third or fourth year of undergraduate study.

The deadline for applications is 23rd January 2025, and students are encouraged to submit their applications promptly as seats are limited.

Additional requirements
Includes two preparatory modules held in Doha before the program.
Registration Criteria
Nationality
The applicant must be a Qatari national.
Age
The applicant must be under the age of 25 years.
Academic Year
The applicant must be an Undergraduate University student in their Third or Forth year.
Academic Excellence
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 out of 4.
English Language
Proficiency in English (speaking and writing).
Registration Requirements
During the Registration:
- A copy of Qatari ID (From Metrash)
- A copy of a valid passport
- A passport-size photo
- Applicant University Transcript showing a cumulative GPA and grades from enrollment to present. (Fall 2025 grades and a cumulative GPA must be updated) .
- Parental Consent form (from the father), along with a copy of the father’s Qatari ID.
Requirements upon completion of the assessment phases:
- Medical Fitness certificate .
- Deposit of a QAR 5,000 (non-refundable in case of withdrawal or dismissal).

Note:
- the applicant will undergo two assessment phases after the application is completed and accepted.
Program Expenses Coverage:
As part of the Young Leaders Fellowship program, QLC will cover all official program-related expenses, including:
- Round-trip Ticket on Economy Class
- Accommodation during the program
- Transportation during the program
- Program learning materials and entrance fees (if applicable)
- Health and travel insurance for the program duration
Expenses Not Covered:
Participants are responsible for any personal expenses, including but not limited to:
- Visa application fees
- Leisure activities
- Meals or transportation outside the official program schedule
- Excess baggage fees
- Medical expenses not covered by the provided insurance
- Companions / family members — travel, accommodation, and any related expenses for accompanying individuals are not covered by the Centre
